Spacing Ottawa launch party

Last week Deb and I performed a dj/vj set (as The Latest Artists) at the Spacing Ottawa launch party at Cube Gallery .

Busy weekend

Still collecting myself from a busy weekend past . . .

On Friday evening, Artengine’s new media Nite Ride exhibition opened, and I got to enjoy the first ride of the night, listening to Tim Hecker’s custom 5.1 channel surround soundtrack to a drive through the Gatineau Hills.

Cornucopia

If you’re in Ottawa this Thanksgiving weekend, I invite you to swing through Westboro on Saturday afternoon to check out Cornucopia, Wesboro’s fall celebration. There’ll be street performers walkin’ the beat and lots more to see and do during this all day “animated sidewalk sale.”

Helen in the Keller

Really diggin’ the new M-nus release by Clickbox + Run Stop Restore. Currently can’t get enough of the title track with the slide-y bass guitar and creepy almost off-putting vocals; then the solo synth-line part in the middle: nice dark/groovy stuff. This one will def. get some play at my autumn/Halloween gigs!
