		<description>@Steve -- the electrodes are indeed wire, 30 gauge (wire-wrap), w/ the insulation still on, attached directly to the acrylic by tension, w/ fasteners on either end.  Since they&#039;re so thin, they create a very faint (negligible) shadow.  For our application it didn&#039;t really matter since the shadow (when you notice it) appears as a thin window pane.

Maybe I missed it, but regarding the touch electrodes, what exactly are they? Wire? or something else? 

Also, are the electrodes attached directly to the acrylic? and did they create a shadow at all on the backlit acrylic?
